📋 Description

• Design and build the ML infrastructure that powers batch and real-time models for customer-facing products. • Lead zero-to-one ML/AI initiatives to develop innovative products from scratch. • Bridge the gap between ML scientists and engineering teams, enabling the success of cross-functional projects. • Be a thought leader for ML operations on our team, building out new inference capabilities while enhancing the scalability and efficiency of our existing platform. • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years experience as an Machine Learning Engineer, Applied Scientist, or similar role. • BS or MS in Computer Science or another quantitative field. • Strong proficiency in one or more common languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, Golang). • Proficiency with common ML tools and frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Spark). • A working understanding of the algorithms you will bring to life. • Proven experience with the E2E ML application development.
