📋 Description

• Take full ownership of complex features and projects from initial concept (0-1) through design, development, launch, and ongoing support • Develop customer-facing platform features used by thousands of fleets worldwide to reduce crashes and emissions • Design, build, test, and deliver end-to-end products in collaboration with product managers, designers, firmware and infrastructure engineers • Own production systems in your domain and create world-class systems at scale • Mentor, coach, and guide engineers and influence technical decisions and roadmaps • Champion Samsara’s cultural principles and balance rapid iteration with customer-focused development to deliver customer wins

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing and shipping outstanding customer-focused products • Strong programming fundamentals in Java, Python, Golang, TypeScript or JavaScript • Experience designing and maintaining complex systems and application services • Ability to estimate, communicate, and deliver project milestones • Seeks to iterate on new products based on customer feedback • Mentor and guide other engineers on the team • Remote position open to candidates residing in Canada (must reside in Canada) • (Ideal) Experience using LLM technologies
