📋 Description

• Take full ownership of complex features and projects from concept (0-1) through design, development, launch, and ongoing support • Own production systems and key product areas used by thousands of fleets worldwide • Build customer-facing platform features (login, dashboards, reports, settings, alerts) and core infrastructure components • Collaborate with product managers, designers, firmware and infrastructure engineers to design, build, test, and deliver end-to-end products • Bring a customer-focused mindset and iterate quickly to deliver customer wins • Mentor, coach, and guide engineers on the team • Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as the team scales globally

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing and shipping outstanding customer-focused products • Strong programming fundamentals in Java, Python, Golang, TypeScript or JavaScript • Experience designing and maintaining complex systems and application services • Ability to estimate, communicate, and deliver project milestones • Seeks to iterate on new products based on customer feedback • Experience mentoring and guiding other engineers • Experience using LLM technologies (ideal) • Must reside in the United States (remote position open to candidates residing in the United States) • Ability to secure and maintain legal right to work in the specified work location
