📋 Description

• Design and build scalable mobile platform infrastructure supporting high-availability applications. • Create foundational frameworks that enable efficient development across 20-25 engineering teams. • Optimize performance for diverse device types, including low-end Android devices. • Architect solutions for large-scale consumer mobile applications serving various industries. • Lead technical initiatives to reduce complexity and improve developer productivity. • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara's cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.

🎯 Requirements

• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of mobile development related experience. • Extensive experience with large-scale consumer mobile applications. • Proven track record building platform-level mobile infrastructure and frameworks serving millions of customers daily. • Strong expertise in mobile performance optimization and scalability. • Experience supporting multiple engineering teams through platform solutions. • Deep understanding of mobile architecture patterns and best practices. • React Native experience (our apps are primarily React Native-based). • Experience with cross-platform mobile development. • A blend of experience from both fast-paced startup/entrepreneurial environments and large-scale big tech companies. • A track record of technical leadership in fast-growing companies.
