📋 Description

• Design and build authentication and authorization systems that are reliable, standards-based, and performant for millions of global users. • Propose and implement technical solutions, guide system architecture, and ensure features are integrated across the stack (frontend, backend, databases, APIs). • Partner with Product, Security, and Compliance teams to meet enterprise-grade requirements and support global standards. • Support and develop engineers on the team through code reviews, design discussions, and career development. • Work closely with Product, Security, and Engineering leadership to set priorities, communicate progress, and address risks. • Engage with customers, industry forums, and external security partners to ensure Samsara remains trusted and credible in the market. • Contribute to our culture and maintain an inclusive, collaborative and supportive work environment where all Samsara employees can grow and thrive. • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of industry experience in software development • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience • Strong programming/coding and design fundamentals • Professional experience working with a team to develop software
