📋 Description

• Develop and own Nordic category strategies • Define and optimize assortment, product groups, brands, and SKU portfolio • Drive assortment decisions based on commercial performance and insights • Further develop club segmentation and adapt assortment to needs • Lead private-label development from idea and insight through sourcing and launch • Monitor market trends, member preferences, and competitor development • Own forecasting and forecast processes • Own and develop supplier relationships across the Nordic region • Lead negotiations covering agreements, terms, bonuses, and marketing contributions • Conduct sourcing and tender processes for new suppliers • Ensure efficient logistics and supply models across four countries and approximately 275 locations • Ensure compliance with SATS purchasing processes, policies, and contract framework • Evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvements • Serve as the main contact for distribution and distributor partnerships in all markets • Set and follow up Nordic retail targets for sales, margin, and profitability • Analyze category, product, and supplier performance • Prepare business cases and profitability analyses • Lead campaign planning with suppliers • Optimize product placement and planograms based on insights and sales data • Identify improvement initiatives and ensure execution • Collaborate with Nordic Head of Retail, Country Retail Managers, and stakeholders across the organization

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in category management and purchasing, preferably from retail, FMCG, or sports and clothing industries • Demonstrated experience owning complete processes from strategy through implementation and results follow-up • Experience from complex organizations with multiple markets and stakeholders • Solid experience with contract negotiations and supplier development • Strong commercial understanding and interest in margins, growth, and value creation • Very strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into decisions • Strong execution ability and ability to prioritize in an environment with many parallel activities • Good communication skills in English, both orally and in writing • Nordic languages are an advantage • Ability to take ownership and follow matters through to completion • Comfortable challenging suppliers and internal stakeholders when necessary • Curious, collaborative, and comfortable working across countries, functions, and disciplines
