📋 Description
• The Production Planner will be responsible for translating customer demand into actionable production schedules that align with warehouse capacity and operational priorities. • The Production Planner will coordinate forecasts, manage work orders, communicate with customers and internal teams, monitor production progress, and support continuous process improvements through data analysis and AI-enabled workflows. • Communicate directly with customers to gather inbound and outbound forecasts. • Consolidate customer requirements into standardized production plans. • Translate customer demand into daily and weekly production schedules. • Create and maintain production schedules based on customer priorities and warehouse capacity. • Monitor production progress and ensure all required components are available before production begins. • Ensure warehouse activities remain aligned with production schedules and customer expectations. • Build strong customer relationships through proactive, professional communication. • Track production KPIs and operational performance. • Leverage AI tools to improve forecasting, reporting, documentation, and operational efficiency. • Identify opportunities to standardize processes and improve planning accuracy.
🎯 Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain, logistics, inventory planning, or operations coordination. • Previous experience within a 3PL, distribution, warehouse, or manufacturing environment. • Experience creating and managing production schedules. • Experience using ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), or production planning software. • Experience supporting B2B and Direct-to-Consumer operations is preferred. • Experience with demand forecasting, inventory planning, and work order management is preferred. • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. • Strong understanding of production planning and warehouse operations. • Experience with ERP systems and Warehouse Management Systems. • Strong analytical and organizational skills. • Strong problem-solving and process improvement mindset. • Ability to collaborate effectively across Operations, Warehouse, and Customer-facing teams.
