• Transform raw attorney footage into polished, branded content for social media, YouTube, websites, and digital advertising • Edit attorney interviews and Q&A footage into short-form content for Instagram Reels, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, TikTok when applicable, and paid social advertising • Identify effective beginning and ending points using raw footage or transcripts • Remove pauses, mistakes, repeated statements, filler words, unnecessary conversations, and interviewer dialogue when appropriate • Create smooth cuts, improve pacing, and preserve the attorney’s intended meaning • Create opening frames and hooks that communicate the video topic • Format content for social platforms, including vertical 9:16 videos and platform-safe zones • Apply jump cuts, punch-ins, subtle zooms, pattern interrupts, branded transitions, and motion graphics • Add names, titles, lower thirds, logos, calls-to-action, branded intros, and outros • Match colors, fonts, logos, and visual styles to client websites and brand guidelines • Adapt templates and maintain consistent editing styles across recurring client content • Select and incorporate relevant B-roll, graphics, icons, screenshots, on-screen text, music, and sound effects • Create accurate, properly timed captions and subtitles while preserving spelling, grammar, legal terminology, and client information • Edit long-form attorney interviews, educational videos, and podcast-style conversations • Add introductions, chapter or topic transitions, B-roll, graphics, lower thirds, music, calls-to-action, and outros to long-form videos • Prepare and export final videos for digital platforms • Repurpose long-form footage into multiple short-form videos when applicable • Review completed videos for spelling, captions, names, law firm details, logos, websites, phone numbers, calls-to-action, branding, audio, visual quality, aspect ratios, safe zones, and export settings • Maintain organized raw footage, working files, creative assets, revisions, and final exports • Follow folder structures and project naming conventions • Manage multiple client projects and videos while meeting deadlines and quality standards • Collaborate with the Social Media team and follow creative direction • Implement revision feedback and apply approved client preferences to future videos
• Professional video editing experience • Strong experience creating short-form and social media video content • Experience editing vertical 9:16 content • Experience editing long-form video content • Experience working from raw footage, transcripts, written creative briefs, and brand guidelines • Experience managing multiple video projects simultaneously • Experience with professional services, attorneys, doctors, financial professionals, or other authority-driven content is a plus • Strong understanding of video pacing, storytelling, and viewer retention • Strong captioning and subtitle editing abilities with exceptional attention to accuracy • Ability to select relevant B-roll and supporting visuals • Ability to create basic motion graphics, lower thirds, branded transitions, on-screen text, and supporting visual elements • Skills in audio cleanup and leveling, color correction, and preparing professional final exports • Ability to maintain consistent branding across recurring client content • Strong organizational skills for structured project files, assets, revisions, and exports • Ability to independently interpret transcripts, creative instructions, templates, and reference materials • Ability to manage multiple clients, projects, revisions, and deadlines in a high-volume production environment • Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or comparable tools • Familiarity with captioning, motion graphics, audio cleanup, or AI-assisted video editing tools is welcome • Availability to work 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST / U.S. business hours • Resume must be submitted in English and PDF format • Must submit a video showcasing skill sets and a video editing portfolio or 2–3 work examples
