📋 Description

• Monitor IT systems, applications, interfaces, cloud services, and end-to-end services • Assess monitoring alerts, incidents, and performance anomalies based on their criticality • Initiate appropriate measures in response to threshold violations, outages, and availability risks • Administer and optimize monitoring tools, dashboards, alert rules, and escalation procedures • Support Incident, Problem, Event, and Change Management within ongoing IT operations • Analyze trends, capacity, and recurring operational issues to ensure sustainable stability • Document incidents, measures taken, operational evidence, and lessons learned in an auditable and traceable manner • Support IT projects, system implementations, and service changes from an operations perspective

🎯 Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable IT qualification • Several years of experience in IT operations, monitoring, IT Operations, or system administration • Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools, ideally Checkmk • Understanding of IT infrastructures, servers, networks, databases, applications, APIs, and cloud services • Proficiency in ITSM processes covering Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Management • Confident working knowledge of SNMP v2/v3, Windows Server, Linux, networking fundamentals, and interface monitoring • Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or SQL is a plus • Structured, analytical, responsible, and service-oriented approach to work • Fluent German and English
