📋 Description

• New sales role to develop business wholesaling Sentinel Group’s retirement plan Record-Keeping and Third Party Administrative services to financial advisors. • Hunt and initiate new direct contacts with advisors/brokers and develop those contacts into prospects. • Become a trusted advisor in prospects’ decision-making process to gain successful business and long-term client relationships. • Build a balanced pipeline through trusted relationships and prospecting (cold calling, email, phone, LinkedIn, webinars, in person meetings). • Qualify opportunities using understanding of best-fit opportunities and decision-making personas. • Use CRM and other sales tools; present effectively and communicate across the organization. • Drive growth of Retirement Plan Services and educate prospects on why Sentinel is a better choice than larger brands.

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to build out a new territory from prospecting, sourcing, establishing new financial advisor channels and maximizing existing partner/referral relationships. • Ability to build strong ecosystem partnerships and business referral relationships to share Sentinel Group values and behaviors. • Become a trusted advisor within the prospect’s decision-making process to win business and long-term client relationships. • Consistently build a balanced pipeline through trusted relationships and traditional prospecting (cold calling, email, phone, LinkedIn, webinars, in person meetings). • Understand differences between high-value and low-value activities; qualify or disqualify opportunities quickly. • Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. • Familiarity with relevant sales tools, CRM systems, and internal software. • Willingness to seek perpetual growth; plan and play to win mindset. • Ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels of the organization. • 3-5+ years’ experience in a B2B sales cycle role preferred (willing to train). • High level familiarity with defined contribution and defined benefit retirement plans; good understanding of ERISA regulations and plan design. • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and collaboration abilities. • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ability to learn different software packages. • Nice to have: ASPPA QPFC, QPFA or QKA designation.
