📋 Description
• Assist with the design, preconstruction and construction activities on a given project(s). • Interact daily with Contractors, Engineers, Commissioning Agents, and Vendors. • Review design documents, bid packages, and schedules to ensure conformance with contract expectations. • Identify and ensure implementation of standards and low-cost alternatives. • Collaborate with the procurement team to review OFCI equipment submittals for compliance. • Review construction documents for completeness and constructability. • Provide design and installation support to on-site staff, EPC contractor, and EPC project management team. • Support project teams in resolving design issues discovered during construction and commissioning phases. • Conduct effective pre-construction planning sessions. • Verify that construction agrees with engineering design drawings. • Perform field observations and provide installation support as part of the construction quality assurance process. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
🎯 Requirements
• 7+ years’ experience in construction management, design, design management, or relevant field • 5+ years’ experience with data center design and/or construction projects • Experience with mechanical engineering systems and their integration into mission-critical environments. • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering • Licensed Professional Engineer (preferred but not required)
