📋 Description

• **Responsiblities:** • **• Key responsibilities include architecture, complex troubleshooting, overseeing upgrades and migrations, implementing backup and disaster recovery, automation, and providing mentorship to junior staff.**

🎯 Requirements

• **The Virtualization Administrator II shall be responsible for, but is not limited to, performing the following:** • **• Designing, building, implementing, and troubleshooting information systems hosted on VMware, AWS, and Azure.** • **• Providing technical support for existing and emerging virtualization technologies and assisting with planning and execution of related technology projects and initiatives.** • **• Overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of virtual machines (VMs), virtual infrastructure, and physical infrastructure (including rack mounting and hardware configuration).** • **• Monitoring the performance of virtual environments and optimizing resource allocation to ensure efficient operation.** • **• Diagnosing and resolving issues related to virtualization, including VM performance, connectivity, and security.** • **• Implementing and managing backup and disaster recovery solutions for virtual environments.** • **• Ensuring the security of virtual environments by applying patches, updates, and mandatory/recommended security configurations.** • **• Maintaining detailed documentation of virtualization configurations, procedures, and policies.** • **• Working closely with other IT teams to support virtualization needs and integrate virtual solutions with other systems.** • **• Implementing and managing backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.**
