📋 Description

• Work as part of an agile team to develop requirements for web applications • Write code and unit tests following best practices and design patterns • Develop technical solutions in collaboration with Product and Quality teams • Develop, maintain, and enhance Shift product features • Analyze functional and non-functional requirements and propose appropriate technical solutions • Design, document, implement, and enhance REST APIs • Create software engineering technical artifacts, including ER diagrams, class diagrams, and UML diagrams • Estimate technical effort and support delivery planning with the Agile Facilitator and the team • Keep technical documentation up to date • Develop and execute unit, integration, and component tests • Propose functional and technical improvements to Shift products • Apply Security by Design principles and security, privacy, and secure development requirements • Use Generative AI in accordance with Shift’s security, governance, and responsible-use guidelines • Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Quality, Agile, and other teams • Communicate blockers, technical risks, and dependencies • Participate in code reviews and provide technical feedback • Identify root causes and propose corrective and preventive actions • Support the Agile Facilitator in meeting deadlines and maintaining quality and scope • Contribute to the knowledge base, standards, checklists, documentation, and best practices • Promote continuous learning, innovation, and improvement of products and processes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field • Experience developing and maintaining web applications • Front-end experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular 16+ • Back-end experience with Java, REST APIs, and SQL • Knowledge of relational database modeling • Knowledge of UML modeling and the ability to read technical diagrams • Experience with Git • Knowledge of object-oriented programming, best practices, Clean Code, and API design • Experience with unit testing and continuous integration (CI/CD) • Experience with Generative AI tools, such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code, for coding, testing, documentation, and refactoring • Critical thinking and ownership of deliverables • Nice to have: Quarkus, Docker, and Docker Compose
