📋 Description

• Lead and grow the Fulfillment Pod – hiring, mentoring, and setting the technical bar • Own the architecture and delivery of core fulfillment systems • Balance hands-on coding with technical leadership – you're still in the codebase • Partner with Product and Design to turn roadmap into shipped, scalable features • Drive performance, scalability, and reliability across the pod's services • Bring AI into the workflow – automating what can be automated, freeing the team to focus on what matters • Run the team's rituals: planning, reviews, retros – keep them lean and useful

🎯 Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in software engineering, ideally with some in a leadership or mentoring capacity • Strong knowledge of backend systems (PHP, NodeJS, or Python); our stack uses all three • Solid grasp of system design, clean architecture, and the trade-offs that come with scale • Experience leading, mentoring, or growing engineers — technically and personally • Comfort with ambiguity and fast-changing priorities • A problem-solver mindset: logical, curious, and allergic to over-engineering • Fluent in English (written and spoken) - we operate in English.
