📋 Description

• Lead, support, and develop a team through regular feedback, performance reviews, and individualized career development • Support hiring and onboarding • Define the testing strategy and quality standards together with Engineering colleagues • Prioritize and allocate Quality Engineering tasks based on product risks, roadmap objectives, and team capacity • Contribute to test design, test automation, and exploratory testing • Support the analysis of complex defects and validate changes across multiple product areas • Support Quality Engineers, developers, and Product Managers in implementing the testing strategy • Improve testing tools and practices, including the responsible use of AI-assisted testing • Use customer issues, defects, and test reliability data to identify opportunities for improvement • Support product releases by communicating test results, remaining risks, and quality recommendations • Translate company goals and product priorities into a Quality Engineering roadmap with measurable improvement objectives

🎯 Requirements

• Experience leading a technical team, including coaching, performance reviews, and individualized professional development • Hands-on experience in software testing, developing test strategies, and test automation • Experience with end-to-end, API, integration, or component testing • Experience defining and presenting quality metrics • Experience using quality metrics, test results, and risk assessments to identify gaps and support decision-making • Ability to set priorities and delegate tasks • Ability to collaborate effectively with Engineering and Product colleagues • Excellent written and spoken English skills • Ability to explain technical concepts and trade-offs clearly • German language skills are not required • Experience in e-commerce, open-source software, cloud applications, upgrades and migrations, as well as AI-assisted development and test automation, is a plus but not required • Prior knowledge of Shopware is not required
