📋 Description

• Manage corporate storage environments including SAN, NAS and mission-critical storage systems • Oversee creation, expansion and migration of volumes, LUNs and file systems • Configure Fibre Channel switches, zoning, multipathing and high-availability policies • Implement local and remote replication strategies to ensure service continuity • Monitor IOPS, latency, throughput, capacity usage and growth trends • Plan storage capacity considering system growth and business requirements • Perform advanced troubleshooting for storage-related incidents, SAN connectivity, volume availability and data access • Execute periodic failover, disaster recovery and data restoration tests • Ensure integrity, availability and security of stored data • Lead technology renewal, migration and modernization projects for storage platforms • Define standards and best practices for storage resources across physical, virtualized and cloud environments • Support virtualization, database, server and application teams on storage performance and availability needs • Administer critical storage environments, drive expansion and modernization projects, implement data protection and resolve high-complexity incidents • Collaborate with cross-functional technology teams on strategic infrastructure evolution initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Experience administering and supporting corporate storage environments from vendors such as Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, IBM, Hitachi Vantara or Pure Storage • Advanced knowledge of SAN architectures, Fibre Channel switches, zoning, multipathing, LUN masking and volume provisioning • Experience with NAS environments and protocols NFS and SMB/CIFS, including shares, permissions, quotas and performance tuning • Knowledge of All-Flash, Hybrid and Object Storage, tiering and performance optimization • Experience with synchronous and asynchronous replication between storage systems • Experience in data migration, storage consolidation and capacity expansion in critical environments • Knowledge of deduplication, compression, thin provisioning, snapshots, clones and data protection techniques • Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting and metrics such as latency, throughput, IOPS and resource utilization • Knowledge of enterprise backup solutions for physical, virtual and cloud environments • Experience with automation using PowerShell, Python or Shell scripting • Experience with Dell PowerStore, PowerMax, Unity, Isilon/PowerScale, NetApp ONTAP, IBM FlashSystem, HPE Primera/3PAR and Pure Storage • Knowledge of Storage Virtualization, Storage as Code and integration with Kubernetes • Experience with ransomware protection, cyber recovery and immutable backup solutions • Experience operating environments larger than 500 TB with 24x7 high-availability requirements • Knowledge of RPO, RTO, SLA and service availability concepts • Desirable certifications: Dell EMC Proven Professional, NCDA, VMCE, CCP, VCS, IBM Spectrum Protect, Hitachi Vantara Qualified Professional, VCP, NCP, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Solutions Architect Associate and ITIL Foundation
