📋 Description

• Translate in-game text, UI, legally relevant texts, and supporting materials according to client guidelines, First Party terminology, tone, and style • Revise and review translations for linguistic accuracy, consistency, and natural flow • Perform creative translation and localization tasks • Develop, maintain, and update glossaries, style guides, and character profiles • Meet project deadlines and productivity targets within the localization pipeline • Ensure consistency of tone, voice, and terminology across content and game components • Collaborate with translators to review cohesion and logical content flow • Identify and resolve localization issues and testing bugs • Use CAT and project management tools such as memoQ, JIRA, and client-specific systems • Enter, monitor, and respond to localization queries • Assist with onboarding new translators • Support candidate test evaluations and test updates • Work closely with clients on day-to-day language matters • Adapt to evolving project requirements and priorities • Ensure adherence to Security, Confidentiality, Health & Safety, IT, HR, ethical, ISO, GDPR, and client confidentiality requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Exceptional proficiency in both Spanish and English • High cultural understanding of Spanish markets • 1–3 years of experience in translation, localization, or related language services (game localization experience preferred) • Solid command of CAT tools such as memoQ, Trados, XTM, and client-specific systems • Familiarity with workflow platforms such as JIRA and Plunet • Excellent linguistic accuracy and attention to detail, with a strong focus on consistency • Ability to manage independent tasks effectively • Good problem-solving and communication skills • Adaptability to feedback and shifting project needs • Ability to work under tight deadlines • Commitment to company policies, ISO quality standards, GDPR, and client confidentiality • Responsible work ethic and commitment to safe and supportive working practices • Candidate must be located within Portugal • Applications must be sent in English
