📋 Description

• Gather business needs from internal stakeholders and, when applicable, customers • Analyze existing business processes (as-is) and propose the desired workflow (to-be) • Research and document rules specific to the foreign-trade domain • Write user stories with clear, verifiable acceptance criteria • Document business rules, edge cases, and input/output data • Keep functional documentation up to date as requirements evolve • Participate in story planning and clarify questions from developers • Write detailed instructions and tasks for an autonomous AI agent • Validate deliverables with developers against the acceptance criteria • Design and execute acceptance tests • Report discrepancies between specifications and the solution built, and help prioritize their resolution • Analyze operational and usage data to support product decisions • Create simple reports or dashboards and track deliveries • Communicate progress and blockers to stakeholders • Work with the Technical Product Owner to prioritize the backlog

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Systems/Computer Engineering, International Trade, or a related field • At least 2 years of experience in Functional Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar roles, ideally at technology/software companies • Experience working in agile development teams (Scrum/Kanban), writing user stories, and collaborating directly with developers • Preferred: previous experience in foreign trade, logistics, customs, or regulated industries • Intermediate-level SQL skills • Experience using agile management tools (Jira, Confluence, or equivalent) • Basic knowledge of wireframing tools (Figma, Miro, or similar) • General understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and API/integration concepts, with no programming required • Highly valued: familiarity with generative AI tools for documenting, analyzing, or drafting specifications • Spanish: advanced/fluent level
