📋 Description

• Audit the existing architecture and codebase, defining what stays, what gets rebuilt, and how everything fits together • Turn the current Cloudflare and Supabase-based system into a maintained, documented codebase with clear standards and guidelines • Design data pipelines ingesting Klaviyo, Postscript, and Attentive data into Supabase, including modeling, storage, syncing, and querying beyond platform API limitations • Build and maintain scalable engineering foundations • Design and ship agents and AI skills for account diagnostics, reporting, QA, go-to-market, and internal operations • Make internal AI tooling reliable and consistent for team-wide use • Define quality boundaries so the team achieves consistent results • Evolve prototype products into dependable, scalable client products • Own integrations with email and SMS platforms and future integrations • Establish development workflows with the founder and ensure changes enter the maintained codebase • Advise the founder on product feasibility, effort, and risk • Engage directly with clients to understand problems, adjust products, and ship solutions • Set engineering standards and practices for future hires • Lay the groundwork for the engineering function to grow beyond one person

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years building software professionally, with a track record of shipping things real people used • Strong full-stack engineering skills with TypeScript and/or Python, modern backend and frontend, Cloudflare, Supabase/Postgres, and SQL • Cloud infrastructure provisioning experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure • CI/CD workflows experience • Hands-on experience building LLM-based systems, including agents, tool use, RAG, evals, prompt design, and skill design • Experience building data pipelines from third-party APIs, modeling data, keeping it in sync, and querying it well • Comfortable with Supabase/Postgres or equivalent and owning data infrastructure end to end • Experience being the only or lead engineer somewhere • Ownership mindset and ability to work independently • Proactive communication in a remote, async environment • Excellent written and verbal English • Preferred: experience with Klaviyo, Postscript, Attentive, Braze, or the DTC/ecommerce ecosystem • Preferred: background at a fast-moving martech or retention product company • Preferred: experience productizing internal tooling or turning agency workflows into software • Preferred: familiarity with AI coding tools such as Codex or Claude Code • Preferred: product instinct and opinions about what should be built • Must be Brazilian and/or currently living in Brazil, as stated in the application form • Advanced to Fluent English skills, as stated in the application form
