📋 Description

• Prepare various court filings and legal documents • Welcome and assist clients with ongoing cases, providing information on their inquiries when requested by the attorney • Make client contacts and provide client service under attorney supervision • Complete tasks entered in the CPJ agenda/calendar • Strictly meet assigned procedural deadlines, observing the D-1 rule • Submit court filings in strict compliance with the formatting standards established by SILVA E FREITAS • Conduct preliminary case reviews for hearings when requested by the attorney • Request client scheduling and rescheduling through CPJ via reception • Update legal support (legislation and case law) in filings • Attend hearings as required or at the attorney's convenience • Research case law and legal doctrines • Attend the courthouse for various activities • Photocopy and scan documents • Enter all client interactions and contact details into CPJ • Consult case files and enter data on court websites • File court documents with the courts • Prepare reports related to assigned activities • Participate in courses offered or recommended by the firm • Participate in and assist with the preparation of short courses when requested • Keep your workspace organized • Respect the acoustic comfort of the shared work environment to allow colleagues to concentrate • Keep common areas (kitchen and restrooms) clean and organized (corporate citizenship) • Respond to requests from your direct supervisor • Promote the values of SILVA & FREITAS • Conduct professional activities in strict accordance with the decorum established in the SILVA & FREITAS Internal Regulations • Follow SILVA & FREITAS corporate identity image guidelines while performing duties
