📋 Description

• Build the backend powering Fundable’s API, AI services, MCP, and workflow platform. • Own Fundable’s core data products from architecture through production. • Lead the development of our new external API from end-to-end. • Build, deploy, and test agentic microservices that convert natural language queries into deterministic filters. • Build Fundable’s workflow product end to end, similar to n8n, for recurring automations.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong backend engineering experience building production systems from scratch. • Strong TypeScript/Node.js or Python skills, plus SQL and Postgres experience. • Experience designing APIs, data models, and distributed jobs with authentication, idempotency, retries, and observability. • Understands how to use AI tooling (e.g., Claude, Codex) to build maintainable, modular systems without sacrificing quality. • Practical experience with LLM-backed systems, agentic frameworks, RAG, structured outputs, evaluations, and deterministic validation. • Clear product judgment and communication in ambiguous, fast-moving environments. • Deployed production systems using cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
