📋 Description

• Provide aged care clients with home help services • Perform general housekeeping and make beds • Clean, mop and vacuum floors • Wash, fold and iron laundry • Prepare meals and complete grocery shopping • Get clients out of bed, showered and dressed • Assist clients to take medications • Assist with mobility and therapy goals • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia • Provide social and emotional support • Transport clients to lifestyle activities or appointments • Give family carers a break or opportunity to do other things • Work independently, find solutions to everyday problems and ask a manager for help when needed

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3 months’ experience in a similar professional role • Experience with personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications • Valid Australian Driver's Licence • Own insured, roadworthy vehicle • Completion of a Statutory Declaration prior to commencement • National Police check prior to commencement • Working Rights check prior to commencement • Pre-employment functional assessment prior to commencement
