• Provide aged care clients with home help services including general housekeeping, making beds, cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, washing, folding and ironing laundry, meal preparation and grocery shopping • Provide personal care services including getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed • Assist clients to take their medications • Assist with mobility and therapy goals • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia • Provide social and emotional support • Transport clients to lifestyle activities or appointments • Help family carers have a break or opportunity to do other things • Work independently, find solutions to everyday problems and ask a manager for help when needed
• At least 3 months experience in a similar professional role • Experience with personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications • A valid Australian Driver's Licence • Own insured, roadworthy vehicle • Prior to commencement, every preferred candidate must complete a Statutory Declaration, National Police check, Working Rights check and a pre-employment functional assessment
