📋 Description
• Provide aged care clients with home help services • Perform general housekeeping and make beds • Clean, mop and vacuum floors • Wash, fold and iron laundry • Prepare meals and complete grocery shopping • Provide social support and transport to lifestyle activities • Help family carers take a break or attend to other activities • Work independently and find solutions to everyday problems • Ask the manager for help when needed • Deliver safe, personal, connected and effective care in clients' homes
🎯 Requirements
• A valid Australian Driver's Licence • Own insured, roadworthy vehicle • Interest in community care or aged care • 3–6 months previous experience in a similar role • Ability to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems • Ability to recognise when to ask a manager for help • Must complete a Statutory Declaration before commencement • Must complete a National Police check before commencement • Must complete a Working Rights check before commencement • Must complete a pre-employment functional assessment before commencement
