📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs • Build and evolve distributed systems for high-volume, time-sensitive workloads • Develop solutions using Java/Rust and distributed messaging platforms such as Kafka • Design efficient data solutions using relational and analytical databases including MySQL, ClickHouse, BigQuery, and Athena • Ensure reliability, observability, fault tolerance, and operational excellence across services • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers across multiple regions • Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and engineering best practices • Improve platform performance, scalability, security, and maintainability • Participate in knowledge sharing across the global anti-fraud organization

🎯 Requirements

• Professional experience in backend software development • Bachelor's degree in a related field • Professional working proficiency in English (Advanced or Fluent) • Strong experience developing applications in Java and/or Rust • Experience designing and operating distributed systems • Solid understanding of event-driven architectures and messaging systems such as Kafka • Experience working with relational and analytical databases • Experience building applications deployed on cloud platforms such as AWS • Experience with containerized environments including Docker and Kubernetes • Experience implementing observability solutions, including logging, metrics, and monitoring • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing, code quality, performance, and security • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Be based in Brazil
