• Design and validate new solutions to improve Palia's visual fidelity. • Collaborate with gameplay designers, engineers, and artists to identify and resolve issues related to the map creation workflow. • Analyze map performance, identify problem areas, raise awareness with teams, and resolve issues. • Balance product goals, technical trade-offs, player experience, and timelines to ensure features are defined and delivered efficiently. • Provide hands-on support to artists, helping troubleshoot and resolve integration or performance issues. • Train and mentor artists in using new tools and workflows, emphasizing usability, scalability, and technical elegance. • Participate in planning and reviews, advocating technical considerations and contributing to the project's strategic direction.

🎯 Requirements

• You have worked as an environment technical artist on at least one shipped game or commercial product built in Unreal Engine. • You have experience developing or building tools and pipelines using Unreal Blueprint, C++, Python, or other scripting languages. • You can diagnose complex environment or performance issues and propose practical, production-ready solutions. • You are known for spotting issues early, unblocking teams, and navigating ambiguity with clarity and confidence. • You are curious, adaptable, and driven—always looking for better solutions and eager to learn new tools or techniques. • You are the go-to person artists turn to for problem-solving and are valued for your technical expertise and collaborative mindset.
