📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership to a multidisciplinary team and promote software engineering best practices • Conduct code reviews, ensuring quality, performance, and adherence to architectural standards • Make strategic technical decisions in collaboration with architects and stakeholders • Mentor and technically develop team members from junior to senior levels • Assess and guide the responsible adoption of AI throughout the development lifecycle • Ensure continuous flow through the development pipeline (CI/CD), identifying and removing bottlenecks • Manage technical priorities aligned with the needs of multiple business areas • Track delivery metrics such as lead time, throughput, and quality • Balance technical debt with the delivery of new features • Serve as a bridge between different business areas that consume or depend on the product • Translate complex and conflicting business requirements into viable technical solutions • Negotiate priorities and expectations with multiple stakeholders • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure alignment among dependent teams • Define and evolve the product's technical architecture, considering scalability, resilience, data, and AI • Ensure Java development best practices, including Clean Code, SOLID, and Design Patterns • Safeguard code quality, test coverage, and technical documentation • Drive the continuous evolution of engineering practices, including DevOps, observability, and security • Assess opportunities to apply AI/ML within the product architecture

🎯 Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Java (Java 17+, Spring Boot/Spring Framework) • Experience with systems architecture and microservices • Experience designing scalable, resilient, and distributed solutions • Knowledge of circuit breaker, Saga, event-driven, and CQRS patterns • Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (SQL/NoSQL) • Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar) • Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) • Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence applied to software engineering • Experience with generative AI tools, code assistants, and code generation and review • Understanding of LLM fundamentals • Experience integrating AI APIs, RAG, and agents • Understanding of production AI/ML systems architectures • Preferred: experience with MLOps, AI data pipelines, or AI governance/security in corporate environments • Previous experience as a Tech Lead or in technical team leadership • Excellent communication skills for working with multiple departments simultaneously • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and negotiate trade-offs • Systems-level perspective on the impact of technical decisions across different business contexts • Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership • Ability to influence without direct authority • Technical curiosity and willingness to experiment with and evaluate new technologies • Preferred: experience in environments with multiple stakeholders and divergent priorities • Experience managing hybrid teams (backend, frontend, and QA) • Comfortable switching between in-depth technical discussions and strategic conversations with business stakeholders • Hands-on experience implementing or evaluating AI solutions in real-world products
