📋 Description

• Design, develop and implement robust, scalable software solutions using Java • Develop, optimize and maintain RESTful APIs • Design and implement microservices-based solutions • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions • Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance and security issues • Perform code reviews, identify improvements and enforce coding standards • Collaborate with software architects to define standards and best practices • Support and mentor junior and mid-level developers • Identify opportunities to apply AI in products, processes and internal journeys • Ensure best practices for security, observability, performance and scalability • Disseminate development and software engineering standards • Contribute to the evolution of engineering maturity, automation and the responsible use of AI

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience with Java (Java 8+ / Java 11 or higher) • Proficiency in the Spring Framework ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security, Spring Cloud) • Experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs • Advanced knowledge of microservices architecture • Experience with integration patterns and asynchronous communication • Knowledge of event-driven architecture • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar) • Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis or similar) • Knowledge of data modeling and query optimization • Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ or equivalent technologies • Knowledge of integration between enterprise systems and external APIs • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or similar • Experience with monitoring, observability and troubleshooting in production environments • Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) • Experience with unit, integration and automated testing • Knowledge of Clean Code, SOLID principles, Design Patterns and Clean Architecture • Experience with code review processes and software engineering practices • Hands-on experience using AI tools to support the software development lifecycle • Ability to use AI for requirements analysis and refinement, solution modeling, code generation and review, test creation and automation, technical documentation, and impact and technical risk analysis • Knowledge of integration with generative AI APIs and services • Knowledge of Prompt Engineering, RAG, AI agents and intelligent automation is a plus • Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated responses • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences • Skill in leading discussions with business, product and technology teams • Negotiation skills and expectation management • Ability to understand strategic objectives and translate them into technical solutions • Ability to influence decisions without relying on formal authority • Act as a technical reference within the team
