📋 Description

• 12-month project to optimize workforce routing and scheduling, structured in 3 phases and 8 WPs. • Phase 1 (M1–M3): Data and rules gathering (including labor-related constraints) + geographic clustering (k-medoids/DBSCAN), predictive models for demand/duration, and prioritization scoring. • Phase 2 (M4–M8): Mathematical formulation (WSRP/PVRP/TRSP) + implementation of an ALNS solver with custom operators + simulation module for scenario analysis and capacity planning + integration of coordinators and claims handling. • Phase 3 (M9–M12): Validation against 4 baselines via backtesting (costs, coverage, fairness, compliance) + delivery of a prototype with a data pipeline, interactive dashboard, and full documentation. • Tools: Python (pandas, geopandas, scikit-learn, OR-Tools, PuLP/Gurobi), SQL, Git, and web UI frameworks (Streamlit/Dash).

🎯 Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree • Relevant fields: Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Statistics • Mathematical modeling techniques using Operations Research (linear programming, mixed-integer programming, heuristics, etc.) • Experience with solvers (CPLEX, Gurobi, CBC, HiGHS, etc.) • Proficiency in Python • Data Science skills (clustering, prediction, scoring)
