• Own end-to-end new business opportunities, from lead generation to deal closure. • Personally source, shape, and properly qualify new business opportunities. • Manage complex sales cycles from opportunity identification to contract closure. • Develop, maintain, and execute account plans for national security clients and prospects. • Present business solutions at the executive level. • Define and present compelling, customized value propositions and demonstrate technology solutions to prospects and clients. • Use Salesforce to manage all aspects of prospecting, opportunity management, forecasting, client communications, and tasks.
• U.S. Citizenship is required. • Bachelor’s degree. • Experience closing 7-figure accounts. • 5-10+ years of experience working within the national defense/defense technology ecosystem. • 3+ years of experience meeting and exceeding revenue goals in a technology sales environment. • Demonstrated success in new account development. • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. • A strong work ethic, strategic mindset, and dedication to doing what’s best for the business. • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment. • Current possession of a U.S. security clearance or the ability to obtain one with sponsorship. • Experience in or exposure to the nuances of a startup or entrepreneurial environment. • Familiarity with the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE).
