📋 Description
• Lead and manage the North America G/L Accounting team across US and Canadian entities • Own monthly, quarterly, and annual IFRS closing processes • Manage the financial audit end-to-end • Ensure consistently high balance sheet quality • Prepare monthly P&L reports for the CFO, senior management, and headquarters • Serve as primary contact for internal decision-makers, auditors, and tax advisors • Drive process improvements, adoption of new technologies and AI tools, and strategic initiatives including SAP S/4HANA implementation
🎯 Requirements
• Degree in Finance/Accounting • CPA, ACCA or equivalent qualification is ideal • Deep, hands-on IFRS expertise • Knowledge of US GAAP is a plus • Several years of leadership responsibility in accounting, ideally in an international corporate environment • Proven ability to work across time zones, cultures, and hierarchies • Confident with SAP or comparable ERP systems • Familiarity with emerging technologies • Structured and solution-oriented approach with a hands-on attitude • Ability to convey complex topics clearly at every level • Fluent English is essential • German skills are an advantage
