📋 Description

• Build innovative features & services: Design, code, and launch new backend features for restaurant partners. • Identify game-changing opportunities: find asymmetric opportunities for high impact. • Own projects end-to-end: take initiatives from concept through production with cross-functional collaboration. • Use the best tools for the job: work primarily in Python (Flask), but may use Go, Ruby, or other technologies. • Collaborate in a small, agile team: work with 5–8 backend engineers across US, UK, Europe. • Ensure quality and performance at scale: coding, testing, monitoring, DevOps, unit tests, logging and alerting.

• Owner’s mindset: You think like a founder. You take initiative, own problems end-to-end, and move with urgency to deliver results. • Proven builder: solid experience crafting scalable backend systems in Python (Flask) and working with databases and cloud services. Comfortable with monitoring and logging tools. Technology-agnostic – quick to pick up new languages/frameworks (Go, Ruby, etc.). • Remote-ready collaborator: excel at working on distributed teams and communicating asynchronously across time zones. • Product & customer focus: can express opinions on product direction and design; end-customer focus. • Innovative problem solver: loves creative solutions and experimentation.
