📋 Description

• Plan, develop, and maintain customer-facing content for the Smartsheet Help Center and internal product documentation • Partner with the product team to deliver and maintain documentation for customer and internal enablement • Own documentation quality and strategy across the product knowledge base • Immerse yourself in Smartsheet’s product line and understand relevant technologies and features • Create technical Help Center articles, API documentation, eLearning and video content, internal documentation, and visual aids • Produce customer-facing video content, including scripting, recording, and light editing • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy • Use AI tools to accelerate production, improve quality, and scale output • Track and report project assignments and schedules against hard deadlines • Contribute to templates, processes, and standards for scalable content production • Review change requests and customer feedback and recommend and implement content changes • Suggest Help site improvements with the Web Team • Maintain the Smartsheet Help and Learning style guide • Optimize content for search discoverability • Implement content governance tools, improve processes, and document changes • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience writing or editing web content for varied audiences • BA in English, Technical Communication, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience • Basic understanding of and ability to use HTML formatting • Strong command of English, oral and written, at C1 level or above • Experience developing templates and processes for consistent delivery • Understanding of SEO and GEO best practices • Experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics for content decisions • Passion for technology and familiarity with SaaS products • Ability to turn technical jargon into clear, professional, customer-focused language • Familiarity with video production, including scripting, screen recording, or light editing • Experience creating screenshots or visual diagrams • Strong organizational skills and ability to perform basic project management and prioritization • Experience moving content from draft through formatting and publishing in a CMS • Experience using one or more content management systems; Drupal 9 or newer is a plus • Demonstrated experience integrating AI tools into professional workflows, including custom AI configurations and connecting LLMs to external platforms • Familiarity with AI writing tools and interest in expanding AI use in content workflows • Smartsheet Product Certification preferred but not required
