📋 Description

• - Define and implement data architecture strategies across Azure and Snowflake, optimising for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. • - Lead the integration of Snowflake with Azure services such as Data Lake, Synapse, and Blob Storage. • - Design and maintain data models and schemas, ensuring consistency, scalability, and alignment with business requirements. • - Establish cost governance frameworks and monitor performance metrics to ensure optimal resource usage. • - Oversee Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) development using Terraform or Bicep for environment provisioning and management. • - Ensure security, compliance, and access control frameworks meet financial services standards and regulatory obligations. • - Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and compliance teams to align architecture with organisational goals. • - Advise on emerging technologies and best practices to continuously improve the Azure data ecosystem.

🎯 Requirements

• - 7+ years of experience in cloud data architecture, with a focus on Azure-native platforms. • - Proven expertise with Azure Data Lake, Synapse, and Blob Storage — designing and scaling data pipelines and storage solutions. • - Hands-on experience integrating Snowflake with Azure services, including authentication, ingestion, and cost/performance tuning. • - Strong background in data modelling, schema design, and query optimisation. • - Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or Bicep. • - Solid understanding of security, compliance, and access management, preferably within financial services or regulated environments. • - Ability to translate business needs into scalable, maintainable data architecture solutions.
