• Contribute to the development of Europe Region Medical strategies and tactics • Provide the European Medical team with relevant insights, medical practice understanding, and stakeholder needs • Develop and update the KOL engagement plan with high-value scientific programs • Work with country teams to standardize and drive excellence in medical activity planning and execution • Support evidence generation and dissemination, field medical training, launch planning, and scientific activities coordination • Consolidate dashboards and monitor KPIs and metrics • Prepare launch reports and provide actionable insights and recommendations to ensure launch readiness • Support Country Medical Directors in identifying areas for improvement and efficiency • Support people development, skills development, and capability uplift • Support the learning and development team in developing training programs and personal development plans • Support the Region in setting the regional tactical medical plan, scientific objectives, and priorities • Participate in cross-functional initiatives with commercial, medical, PACE, and other teams as the voice of regional stakeholder needs • Support regional due diligence activity and Global B&D programs in collaboration with regional and global cross-functional teams
• Medical Doctor, pharmaceutical or biomedical degree or equivalent by experience • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the pharma industry • Minimum of 4 years of experience in an area relevant for this function, such as Medical Affairs • Previous experience in Rare Diseases and Nephrology appreciated • Experience in cardiometabolic preferred • Field leadership experience including people management, training, and coaching • Strong leadership skills, ideally people management experience • Patient- and customer-focused approach • Proven credibility and integrity in a medical environment • Strong business acumen • Track record of strategic and analytical thinking and effective execution • Very strong communication and presentation skills • Relationship-building capacity with ability to listen and understand • Ability to establish collaborative strategic working partnerships with internal and external stakeholders • Ability to facilitate and moderate open, solution-oriented discussions among key stakeholders • Intentional innovation and thought leadership • Ability to develop and lead others toward a common vision • Requires travelling 30% of working time • Resume/application in English
