📋 Description

• Lead frontend work in a TypeScript/Angular application with Storybook-driven components and Cypress e2e coverage, backed by Java • Own the user experience end-to-end, including component architecture, state management, API shape, and backend changes • Build complex, data-dense dashboards, monitoring views, large tables, diffs, and drill-downs • Drive component architecture, state management, frontend performance, responsive design, and design-system coherence • Write tests at every layer and maintain a meaningful Cypress end-to-end suite • Build interfaces for users to direct, review, and act on LLM-powered workflows • Improve frontend systems, conventions, Storybook coverage, and tests for agentic development • Shape consumed APIs and implement Java backend changes when needed • Mentor backend-focused engineers on frontend development • Collaborate directly with product, design, and customers to define product priorities

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years building frontend for real products, including complex single-page applications with real users • Expert TypeScript and deep experience with a modern framework; Angular preferred, with strong React/Vue engineers welcome to work in Angular • Frontend expertise in component architecture, state management, rendering performance, responsive design, and visual detail • Testing experience, including end-to-end testing with Cypress or Playwright • Ability to read and modify Java services, design APIs from the consumer perspective, and write competent SQL • Understanding of how API design affects round-trips, data flow, and perceived UI latency • Experience shipping production code with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar • Independence in a distributed, asynchronous team across 12+ countries • Fluent English • Preferred: data-heavy or developer-tool products, data visualization, monitoring, analytics UIs, design-system or component-library ownership, multi-tenant SaaS at scale, high-growth startup experience, Python, agentic workflows, and data quality/data management/data observability/ML monitoring experience
