📋 Description

• Architect, evolve, and maintain the software delivery platform and its various environments • Design and manage solutions on Microsoft Azure, including AKS, App Services, networking, identity, and governance • Create, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions • Define and implement deployment, rollback, and delivery automation strategies • Provision and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) • Work with containers and Kubernetes, particularly in Azure/AKS environments • Implement and enhance Backstage, including the developer portal, service catalog, and templates • Implement and enhance observability practices covering logs, metrics, tracing, and alerting • Manage secrets and sensitive information using Azure Key Vault • Incorporate DevSecOps practices into development and delivery pipelines • Implement access controls, security scans in pipelines, and audit mechanisms

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure • Hands-on experience with AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) and Kubernetes • Knowledge of Azure App Services, networking, identity, and governance • Experience with containers and orchestrated environments • Experience designing and structuring CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions • Knowledge of deployment and rollback strategies • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Bicep • Experience with observability tools and practices, such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, or Datadog • Knowledge of Azure Key Vault and secure credential and secrets management • Knowledge of DevSecOps, including security integrated into pipelines, access control, and auditing • Senior-level experience and autonomy in designing and structuring platforms • Hands-on experience with Backstage, particularly implementing a Developer Portal, service catalog, and templates (preferred) • Previous experience building or evolving an Internal Developer Platform (IDP) (preferred) • Microsoft AZ-400 certification (preferred) • Microsoft AZ-104 certification (preferred) • Experience in regulated environments, such as banks, fintechs, insurance companies, or payment institutions (preferred) • Experience with cloud-native architecture, microservices, and highly available environments (preferred) • Experience promoting Platform Engineering and Developer Experience (DevEx) best practices (preferred)
