📋 Description

• Lead a portfolio of regional CAPEX and engineering projects across multiple manufacturing sites in the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic • Oversee capital projects ranging from site improvements to large-scale investments • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and according to scope and quality expectations • Manage project risks, resources, timelines, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Project Managers and external contractors • Provide direction, support, and governance for consistent project execution • Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement • Partner with Operations, OPEX, Global CAPEX, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and Site Leadership teams • Support development of business cases and investment proposals • Align business priorities with project execution across multiple countries and sites • Influence senior stakeholders and facilitate decision-making across a complex matrix organization

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline • Extensive experience managing CAPEX projects within manufacturing, industrial, chemical, food, pharmaceutical, or similar regulated environments • Strong track record of delivering complex engineering projects and capital investments • Previous people leadership experience, including coaching and developing Project Managers • Strong understanding of project governance, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and contractor management • Experience working across multiple countries and stakeholders within Europe • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on project execution • Excellent communication and influencing skills • Fluent English • Project Management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent) preferred • Experience with Front-End Loading (FEL) methodologies preferred • Knowledge of European industrial regulations and standards preferred • Eligibility to work within the European Union preferred
