📋 Description

• Coordinate the Data Engineering team, ensuring alignment, prioritization, and continuous delivery • Serve as a technical reference, supporting decisions on architecture, standards, and best practices • Develop the team through feedback, technical guidance, and career development support • Organize the technical backlog, follow-up rituals, and alignment with the Head of Data • Lead the implementation and evolution of modern data architectures, ensuring scalability, performance, and governance • Define and maintain engineering standards for data ingestion, transformation, versioning, and publishing • Ensure the efficient integration of data from multiple internal and external sources • Support the development and dissemination of an engineering and data culture at Sólides

🎯 Requirements

• Solid experience in Data Engineering, working in production and scalable environments • Previous experience in technical leadership, coordination, or serving as a senior technical reference • Advanced SQL proficiency and experience with Python • Experience with PySpark and cloud data platforms, such as Databricks or Lakehouse environments • Experience with pipeline orchestration (Airflow, dbt, or similar tools) • Strong knowledge of data modeling and support for analytical layers • Experience with software engineering best practices applied to data (testing, version control, and CI/CD) • Knowledge of modern data architectures, governance, security, and privacy • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills • Analytical and pragmatic mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and results orientation • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
