📋 Description

• Continuously monitor security logs, events, and alerts, identifying anomalous behavior and potential attacks • Administer, configure, and optimize WAF solutions • Analyze and handle events related to web application protection • Create, fine-tune, and review WAF security rules and policies • Analyze and address false positives • Support the identification and mitigation of attacks such as SQL injection, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), bot attacks, and the exploitation of web vulnerabilities • Work closely with AppSec, Information Security, Infrastructure, Network, Development, and Cloud teams • Support vulnerability assessments and security testing • Support the implementation and maintenance of security policies and controls • Participate in the response to and containment of moderately complex incidents • Conduct risk analyses and recommend protective measures • Prepare technical reports, security metrics, and documentation • Track metrics related to events, incidents, vulnerabilities, and application protection • Identify opportunities to improve security processes and controls • Support the deployment of security updates and patches • Participate in technical meetings with internal teams and, when necessary, clients • Contribute to the continuous improvement of security controls and the protection posture of environments

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with WAF (Web Application Firewall) • Knowledge of Application Security (AppSec) • Experience analyzing logs and correlating events • Knowledge of network protocols and services, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and VPNs • Knowledge of configuring and managing firewalls, IDS/IPS, and proxies • Knowledge of vulnerability analysis • Knowledge of threats and attacks targeting web applications • Knowledge of security policies and controls • Ability to analyze and interpret security events • Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting WAFs is a plus • Experience with AppSec is a plus • Knowledge of OWASP and the main web application vulnerabilities is a plus • Experience in Cloud environments is a plus • Incident response experience is a plus • Knowledge of monitoring tools and SIEM is a plus • Experience in highly critical enterprise environments is a plus • Bachelor’s degree • CompTIA Security+ certification is a plus
