📋 Description

• Represent product management for overseas markets throughout development of new inverter and battery products • Provide market-driven technical input during product definition, architecture discussions, and design reviews • Evaluate product concepts and challenge technical solutions from customer and application perspectives • Identify product risks, missing functionality, and market gaps • Support HQ Product Management in prioritizing customer requirements and balancing technical trade-offs • Interface between overseas customers and HQ Product Management for technically demanding applications • Support key customer meetings involving C&I and utility-scale opportunities • Translate customer requirements into actionable product recommendations • Lead Market Requirement Documents (MRDs) for new products and major enhancements • Work with HQ during development to clarify application requirements and validate solutions • Contribute to technical reviews, feature prioritization, and product roadmap planning • Monitor market trends and regulatory developments • Ensure overseas regulatory requirements are considered during development • Collaborate with certification specialists and external laboratories during validation • Coordinate product validation through the Test Center Cologne • Define market-specific validation scenarios and application testing • Review firmware and hardware performance from a customer perspective • Ensure products are ready for market introduction • Support the full lifecycle of inverter and battery products from definition to phase-out • Contribute to portfolio strategy using market developments and competitive analysis • Support product launches and technical marketing activities • Deliver technical product training for Sales and Technical Support teams • Assist Sales with technically complex customer opportunities • Contribute to business cases for new products and investments • Build relationships with Product Management, R&D, Certification, Quality, and Technical Support • Collaborate with HQ teams in Shanghai, Suzhou, and Xi'an • Foster communication between international markets and headquarters • Support continuous improvement of overseas product management processes

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Application Engineering, Technical Product Management, or similar positions • Strong experience with photovoltaic inverters, hybrid inverters, and battery energy storage systems • Experience supporting technically demanding customers in residential, commercial, or utility markets • Experience working closely with hardware and firmware development teams • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline • Understanding of power electronics, inverter topology, battery systems, and energy system architecture • Ability to discuss technical concepts with R&D and engineering teams • Understanding of international market requirements and customer applications • Experience translating customer needs into structured product requirements • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills • Ability to work independently and take ownership of hands-on topics • Understanding of international grid codes and product certification processes • Experience with energy management systems or smart energy ecosystems • Fluent English, written and spoken • German is an advantage • Chinese is beneficial but not required
