📋 Description

• Manage Accounts Payable activities, including invoice review, vendor communication, payments, accruals, prepaids, and reconciliations • Manage customer Billing and Accounts Receivable, including invoice issuance, aging, collections, and payment discrepancy resolution • Support Revenue Recognition and maintain consistency between contracts, project activity, billing, and accounting records • Participate in monthly close activities, account reconciliations, and journal entries • Manage simultaneous Finance requests and address critical, time-sensitive matters • Identify opportunities to automate recurring Finance activities and use AI and automation tools to implement efficient workflows • Develop, improve, and monitor internal controls across Finance processes • Challenge existing processes and propose practical improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field • 5+ years of relevant accounting experience • Strong hands-on experience across AP, AR, Billing, Revenue Recognition, and monthly close • Solid understanding of US GAAP and accounting controls • Ability to independently organize, prioritize, and manage multiple concurrent requests from different stakeholders • Ownership mindset, taking issues from identification through resolution • Practical experience using AI, automation, or technology to improve Finance processes • Process-oriented approach to identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment • Flexibility to join calls scheduled in PST timezone • Experience with Light and/or QuickBooks preferred • Prior experience building or implementing Finance automation workflows preferred • Background in a technology, consulting, or high-growth company environment preferred
