📋 Description
• Serving as the IP attorney for the business operating committee and their leadership team • Providing counsel, expertise, and strategic advice to business leaders • Proactively advising and educating business leaders on global IP issues • Partnering with the business to create and execute data-driven, externally informed IP strategies • Managing the global IP portfolio and outside counsel • Managing all offensive and defensive IP disputes globally • Drafting and negotiating all IP centric agreements globally • Assessing new product launches for third-party IP rights • Identifying and communicating global IP risks • Supporting M&A and investment activity • Coordinating the implementation of global IP programs • Managing the IP budget for the business • Leading multiple projects from ideation to launch
🎯 Requirements
• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school • Required licensure to practice law within at least one state • License to practice before the USPTO • Twelve (12) years of experience in intellectual property law • At least five (5) years of experience in a large, multinational company • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a science, engineering, or math discipline from an accredited institution
