📋 Description

• Collect and analyze information for system development and modification • Plan and deploy I/O hardware expansions using HCD (Hardware Configuration Definition) • Plan and implement new LPARs in the operational complex • Study, plan and implement software for storage management • Participate in the study and implementation group for DFSMS/HSM in support, development and production environments • Define ICF catalogs (ICF CATALOG), as well as define and maintain aliases and reorganize catalogs with and without the TACM tool • Analyze production environment performance and recommend changes to maximize and optimize resources, supporting the performance team using MAINVIEW • Implement and maintain Coupling Facility (CF) and HMC structures: create and modify hardware configurations and CPU activation profiles

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field • Experience as a Support Analyst on the Mainframe platform • Incident handling and support • Ensure contracted SLAs and maintain infrastructure availability 24×7 across all sites • Experience in administration and customization of the z/OS operating system (versions 2.2 / 2.4 / 3.1) — Mainframe platform specialist • Strong command of core IBM z/OS components (RACF, WLM, OMVS, JES3, TCP/IP, VTAM, DFSMS, DFHSM, SMP/E) • Proficiency with EOS (Enterprise Output Solution) — report management • Proficiency with GFS/AFM — media library manager • Proficiency with GFS/BETA zSecurity — RACF administration • Programming in Assembler, REXX and JCL • Data collection and monitoring using BMC MainView • Basic knowledge of DB2 and IMS/DB databases • Basic knowledge of TCP/IP network architecture
