📋 Description

• Investigate and analyze logs and security-related events using Sophos tooling • Identify and respond to cyber threats in customer environments • Communicate and document findings for technical and executive customer audiences • Follow up with customers through issue resolution • Provide recommendations to minimize customer-environment risk and drive continuous improvement • Acknowledge and fulfill inbound customer requests across various communication channels • Collaborate with core security and threat response teams • Research emerging indicators of compromise or attack, exploits, and vulnerabilities and operationalize findings • Provide monitoring, detection, and response services through the Managed Threat Response team • Work with cyber threat hunters, incident response analysts, engineers, and ethical hackers using enterprise, log-analysis, and endpoint-collection systems

🎯 Requirements

• Willingness to work outside standard business hours, including weekends and holidays, for a 24x7x365 MDR service • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Customer service orientation • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently • Passion for information technology and cybersecurity • Curiosity and ability to learn new skills quickly • Minimum 2+ years of experience working in a SOC environment or computer security team in an IT environment • Experience with threat hunting • Experience with endpoint and network security monitoring • Experience administering and supporting Windows OS workstations and servers and Apple or Linux-based operating systems • Knowledge of common adversary tactics and techniques • Knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework • Knowledge of incident response procedures • Basic understanding of network traffic analysis, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and protocols • Basic understanding of Windows event log analysis • Legal authorization to work in India without employer sponsorship
