📋 Description

• Prompt response to requests for information, both internally and externally • Timely and accurately enter charges from superbills and demographic reports • Add specific data such as modifiers and payer-specific information, including authorization criteria, CPT and ICD-9 and ICD-10 • Process discrepancies, reconcile, and close charge batches across all systems • Track and follow up on information requests to and from the practice • Achieve supervisor-set goals for error-free work, transactions, processes, and compliance requirements • Post payments • Make patient phone calls • Process claims • Handle patient phone calls professionally • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of experience working in a medical provider or a billing firm environment in the US Healthcare Industry • Experience with AR • Aptitude to learn quickly • Ability to work effectively in a team environment • Effective oral and written communication skills • Ability to work independently and well with others • Ability to add specific data such as modifiers and payer-specific information, including authorization criteria, CPT and ICD-9 and ICD-10 • Experience with payment posting • Experience processing claims
