📋 Description

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements • Manage general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes • Process accounts payable, including invoice review, coding, approvals routing, and timely vendor payments • Process brokers' commission calculations and payments, ensuring accuracy against commission plans and supporting documentation • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP • Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis • Support internal and external audits • Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate financial insights clearly • Maintain organized, accurate financial records and documentation • Report directly to the Director of Finance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from a reputable university • 3–5 years of progressive, independent accounting experience in general ledger, accounts payable, reconciliations, and month-end close • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a remote environment • Strong knowledge of core accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills • Reliable internet connection and a dedicated remote workspace • CPA license (Philippine CPA or equivalent) preferred • Experience with Sage Intacct or similar cloud accounting/ERP platforms, such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero, preferred • Familiarity with U.S. payroll processes preferred • Experience with commission processing or sales compensation administration preferred • Experience working with U.S.-based or international companies preferred • Comfortable using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot preferred • Comfortable working across time zones • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills • Eager to learn and grow into a U.S.-focused accounting role
