📋 Description

• Answer incoming calls and make outgoing calls communicating and promoting organ, tissue, and eye donation • Document referrals from all referring organizations • Properly assess potential organ/tissue donation and communicate referrals • Perform authorization conversations and complete paperwork for anatomical gifts • Screen potential tissue and eye donors with approved agencies • Facilitate donation through telephone and computer referrals • Enter data into donor and referral database • Share information with potential donor families over a recorded telephone line

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent • Completion of an accredited clinical healthcare program resulting in certification, registry, or licensure • 1-year experience working in a similar position at another Organ Procurement Organization, Eye Bank or Tissue Bank may substitute for education or experience • Strong organization and interpersonal skills • Effective communication and listening skills • Ability to practice with a high degree of autonomy in a self-directed manner • Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team • Consistent demonstration of attention to detail, precision, accuracy, and customer satisfaction • Strong prioritization skills and ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
