📋 Description

• Serve as the bridge between engineering teams and clients across the project portfolio • Own day-to-day people leadership, performance tracking, and client communication • Keep engineers organized and unblocked while maintaining client alignment • Shape Space Inch's delivery capabilities and standards • Drive internal AI adoption through modern tooling, upskilling, workflow design, and productivity improvements • Build trust with engineers through regular 1:1s, coaching, candid feedback, and retention-risk resolution • Manage senior client stakeholder relationships, shifting priorities, and technical value communication • Oversee hiring, onboarding, staffing, resource swaps, and engineer productivity during client delays • Coordinate cross-functional technical delivery and translate ambiguous requests into actionable plans • Partner with Tech Leads on architecture and trade-offs across engineering workstreams • Resolve process gaps, communication silos, delivery, scope, budget, and administrative breakdowns • Bridge internal teams and clients to clarify ownership, dependencies, and priorities • Take autonomous action to fix broken processes while keeping executive leadership informed • Guide practical AI-tool adoption focused on delivery speed, code review quality, and team autonomy

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of technical delivery leadership experience • Experience in an agency, consultancy, or client-embedded environment • Experience serving as the primary leadership layer for senior client stakeholders • Ideally an engineering background • Exceptional communication and mediation skills • Ability to protect team health and capacity while maintaining executive trust • Proactive problem-solving and process-fixing ability across delivery, scope, budget, and administration • Empathy and expertise in leading, coaching, and retaining senior technical talent • Ability to support career growth and navigate compensation or retention risks • Resource management, onboarding, interviewing, staffing, allocation, and resource-swap experience • Practical AI adoption experience, including evaluating team usage, establishing operational standards and skill frameworks, and optimizing workflows • Technical fluency in modern architecture, SDLC, and legacy system constraints • Ability to turn ambiguous client requests into actionable execution plans with Tech Leads • Ability to translate technical output, operational fixes, and AI productivity gains into client-value narratives • Strong people instincts and adaptable communication across coaching, escalation, and client conversations • Comfort making decisions, taking ownership, and leading through influence • Systems-thinking ability to identify and fix communication loops and process gaps • Ability to remain calm under client pressure • Understanding of AI's impact on delivery, code review discipline, and team workflows • Applicants must be based in Croatia; applicants from other countries will not be considered
