• 4+ years of experience as a backend engineer • strong proficiency in Java • experience with distributed systems • production deployment • big data processing technologies • understanding of end-user experience • collaborative attitude • familiarity with APIs and agile methodologies • knowledge of algorithms and data structures • experience with data pipelines or Scala (a plus, not required)
